English Pines Bed and Breakfast is located on a quiet residential street in the downtown district of Put-in-Bay and is just a short walk to the wineries, caves, shops, restaurants and Put-in-Bay’s nightlife!
English Pines Bed and Breakfast is located in Put-in-Bay, Ohio on South Bass Island, which is accessible by ferry or airplane. Two ferries provide service to Put-in-Bay, The Miller Boat Line, which departs from Catawba Island, and The Jet Express, with ports in Sandusky and Port Clinton.
The Miller Boat Line
Miller Ferries provide both passenger and vehicle transportation to Put-in-Bay. If you plan to leave your car on the mainland, be sure to look for Miller Boat Line’s free parking lots! Miller Ferries dock on the southwest end of the island, approximately 1.75 miles from the downtown district. Taxis, which charge about $3.50 person, are available to provide transportation to English Pines.
For those choosing to drive their vehicle on the island, English Pines Bed and Breakfast is very easy to find! From Miller Ferry Dock, make a right onto Langram Road and follow it for about a mile. As soon as the posted speedlimit changes from 35 mph to 25 mph, you will see Concord Avenue immediately on your left. We are halfway down Concord Avenue on the left, across from the water tower.
The Jet Express
The Jet Express docks downtown and is approximately a fifteen minute walk from English Pines Bed and Breakfast. From the Jet Express, walk diagonally southwest through DeRivera Park to the corner of Delaware and Catawba Avenues, where the Beer Barrel Saloon is located. Make a left onto Catawba Avenue and walk two blocks to Concord Avenue, where Put-in-Bay School is located. Make a left on Concord Avenue; English Pines Bed and Breakfast is halfway down on the right.
