Our new package combines Island history with Island wines to create The Perfect Island Getaway! Your island getaway begins aboard the Miller Ferry, with two roundtrip passes to Put-in-Bay. The package includes one night’s accommodations during the week at English Pines Bed and Breakfast, one of the island’s most historic homes, and a continental breakfast in the morning. Next enjoy a tour of Heineman’s Winery, Ohio’s oldest family owned winery, where you will learn the art of winemaking, enjoy a complimentary glass of Heineman’s wine in their tasting room or Wine Garden, and tour Crystal Cave, the world’s largest geode. In addition, you will also explore the Put-in-Bay Winery and delve into island history in the newly opened Doller Estate; view winter transportation displays and winery exhibit, tour the Doller Mansion, plus enjoy four samples of wines and receive a souvenir wine glass.
